The intended purpose is documenting notes about bird watching but I bought it to write poetry in. Every few pages there is a beautiful bird illustration and at the bottom of each page there are different quotes about nature and birds. It's lovely.
This is my favorite journal. I first saw it|About the Author|Joy M. Kiser began her career as the librarian for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History in 1995. In 2001 she moves to the Washington DC area to become the librarian for National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). She now works as a writer/editor
